Description

In the mountains of Callayuc, Cajamarca, Héctor Saavedra has been at the heart of coffee since childhood. Today, he not only runs his own farm but also leads a collective of ten farming families, all working together with the same goal: producing outstanding coffee and securing a better future for their community.

This Yellow Caturra lot was hand-picked at peak ripeness, carefully washed to remove all mucilage, and sun-dried on patios for 15 days. The result is a clean and vibrant cup with notes of juicy dark berries, refreshing melon, and a gentle white sugar sweetness.

Beyond the coffee itself, Héctor is spearheading agritourism projects, from opening farms to visitors to hosting coffee auctions, helping create long-term opportunities for the families he leads.
