Description

This coffee comes from Finca Los Angeles, a beautiful farm situated in the Ahuachapán mountain range in western El Salvador. Dedicated entirely to the Pacamara variety, the farm is part of the Los Naranjos group, led by Sigfredo Corado, a retired professor of agronomy with a passion for sustainable coffee production and improving farming practices.

Los Angeles is also part of the Renacer programme, an educational initiative designed to help local coffee producers improve soil health, farm management and coffee quality. Through practical training and hands-on experience, the programme supports farmers in adopting more sustainable practices. At Los Angeles, herbicides have been avoided for over a decade, allowing the soil to recover naturally while creating healthier growing conditions for the coffee trees.

This particular lot is a Black Honey processed Pacamara, a variety celebrated for its distinctive character and complex flavour. During honey processing, a significant amount of the fruit's sticky mucilage is retained around the beans as they dry, encouraging the development of sweetness, body and complexity. The result is a coffee that combines expressive fruit character with a rounded and satisfying structure.

In the cup, expect juicy plum sweetness, refreshing grapefruit notes and a rich cocoa character that brings everything together. The citrus adds a pleasant lift, while the deeper chocolate notes create a smooth, comforting finish.

A lovely expression of Salvadoran Pacamara, combining fruit, sweetness and balance with a thoughtful approach to farming that makes this coffee special.
