Description

Fazenda Vila Boa is a century old family farm in the Campo das Vertentes region of Minas Gerais, now led by Monica Borges, who continues the work started by her grandfather while pushing the farm forward with a strong commitment to environmental responsibility. Under her leadership, Vila Boa has achieved full carbon neutral certification, capturing more carbon through its forests, shade trees and diverse plant life than it emits during harvest and processing. This Yellow Bourbon lot grows at around 1,030 metres and is naturally processed, with ripe cherries dried slowly on patios and turned with care for even and consistent results. In the cup it is smooth, sweet and comforting, with flavours of praline, creamy macadamia and cocoa nib adding richness and depth. It is a quietly expressive Brazilian natural shaped by heritage.
